The rich get richer as these two five-star standouts will now call this Florida prep school home in the fall.
As NIL agreements and sponsorships become more common at the youth sports level, prep academies rake in more and more talent. The boys high school basketball landscape in particular will look very different in the 2026-2027 season, making for some exciting upcoming matchups on the national scene.
Now, two five-star youth prospects are joining forces to help bring this Florida academy more victories.
Nasir “Rudy” Anderson, the #1 ranked point guard in the Class of 2027, is committing to Prolific Prep (Fla.), per ESPN’s Paul Biancardi. The 6’2’’ point guard, transferring from Norcross (Ga.), is coming off a dominating performance at the FIBA U16 Men’s 5×5 AmeriCup. He became Team USA’s U16 all-time assists leader with 41 dimes, and he won AmeriCup tournament MVP in June.
Prep Hoops’ Kyle Sandy calls Anderson a “physically imposing, muscular guard who plays with toughness and intensity. Anderson attacks the rim with force and finishes through contact. He’s capable of hanging in the air to find open teammates and continues to develop as a perimeter shooter. A high-upside slasher who is firmly on Power 5 radars.”
The commitment comes less than 24 hours after five-star Class of 2026 forward Davion Adkins announced his commitment on Monday. The 6’8’’ power forward is transferring from Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy in Dallas, Texas, and Prep Network ranks him 20th nationally in the Class of 2026.
Prep Hoops’ Jay Frye calls Adkins “a powerful, athletic forward who plays with a nonstop motor and punishes teams in the paint. At 6’8″, he combines elite vertical pop with strength, giving him an edge on the glass and as a rim protector. He’s also a capable passer from the high post and improving as a face-up scorer. Coaches keep calling because he brings toughness, interior defense, and relentless rebounding—exactly what winning frontcourts are built around.”

Prolific Prep, originally based in Napa, California, is relocating to a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, campus this season. The academy, founded in 2014, boasts a number of high-profile alumni, including current NBA players Jalen Green, Gary Trent Jr., and Yves Missi.
The school is re-tooling after losing superstar Darryn Peterson, who will play collegiately at Kansas in the fall. Adkins and Anderson will join five-star Class of 2026 guard Caleb Holt who transferred to Prolific in June.
