About the Scholarship

For far too many student-athletes, the dream of competing in college is financially unattainable. The Grow the Dream Foundation exists to bridge the financial gap for families in need and promote the positive impact of college athletics. The foundation and its sponsor company, Prep Network, share the mission of creating lifelong memories for athletes through a combination of premiere competition and media exposure, seeking to make college athletics a reality for more aspiring high schoolers across the country.

Grow the Dream Foundation will provide scholarship funding for two student-athletes, per high school graduating class, who are pursuing a place on an athletic roster at a college or university in the state of Minnesota. Each scholarship winner will receive $5,000 per year, for a maximum of four years, towards the tuition at the Division 2, Division 3, Junior College, or NAIA college or university of their choice.  The scholarship money will be broken into two payments, $2,500 for the Fall semester and $2,500 for the Spring semester.

This scholarship will have an application process as well as an interview process.  We plan to get to know our candidates, giving each of them an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills throughout the selection process.
