Top 3 Sneaker Drops For The Holiday Season
Anwar Stetson

From the NBA all the way down to AAU, basketball season is in full swing across the nation. So as the holiday season approaches, let’s take a look at some of the best signature shoes on the market.
Sabrina Three’s

The WNBA is filled with mega-superstars — but one vet has the sneakers that the best of the best want to wear. In the 2024-25 season, the Nike Sabrina 2 was the second most worn sneaker in the NBA, with over 32,000 minutes of game time, according to Sports Illustrated.
The Nike Sabrina 3 improves on Ionescu’s signature shoe from this past July. And with a $135 retail price tag, it competes well with other top names. You can even get the “Bring the Heat” colorway, on sale for $112.97, now at Nike.com.

The shoes have some other cool colorways, too. Check out the “Clay Green,” which just dropped, and look out for the “Night Purple,” which is coming to retailers before the end of the year.
JA Three’s

Ja Morant is one of Gen-Z’s favorite athletes. Since he entered the league in 2019, he has wowed crowds with his high-flying slams and flashy offensive skillset.
The Ja Three just dropped in August, but new colorways are flooding the industry in time for the holidays. The “Spooky Season” colorway dropped for Halloween in October, and a new, bright orange “Day Break” colorway is dropping on Saturday.

The Ja Three’s have gotten high marks for their great traction, cushion, and tech, especially at their price point. At $125, The Ja Three’s are a good option if you want a top notch signature shoe that retails a few bucks lower than some others — like the latest Anthony Edwards or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander releases.
SHAI 001

Speaking of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning NBA MVP and champion has continued his incredible 2025 with the release of his debut Converse sneaker–the SHAI 001.
Originally dropping in September with the “Shai Butter” colorway, SGA’s newest shoes have been as successful as his play on the court. Built with Nike tech, the shoes are helping to keep Converse’s name in the conversation for biggest signature brands — but they still give fans the “zoom” bounce that they’re used to with Nike releases.

The Canadian superstar’s shoes are a hot commodity in the sneaker world — the three “family-inspired” styles are currently sold out on the Converse website, but will return on November 20.
The “Masi Blue” style for his younger brother, “Hail Clay” for his wife, Hailey, and the “Charm Black” for his mother, Charmaine, add a sentimental aspect of storytelling to the typical sneaker release.
Retailing for $130, the SHAI 001’s come at a typical price point this holiday season.
