Italian luxury brand Stone Island and New Balance have officially collaborated on an exclusive soccer cleat. The Stone Island x New Balance Furon V8 soccer cleat released Wednesday, November 19, alongside a matching full kit.
The brands revealed the collection through a new promotional reel starring Arsenal soccer star Bukayo Saka and Grammy award-winning rapper Dave. The new kit seamlessly combines high fashion with sports in a monochromatic design.
The collaboration marks a continued push by both brands to merge the worlds of elite sport and technical fashion.
For New Balance, the Furon V8 represents its latest innovation in football performance; for Stone Island, the project marks their presence in sport-driven apparel. Together, the release aims to capture both football athletes and the fashion-minded audience.
The advertisement, posted on both Stone Island and New Balance Football’s social media accounts, depicts Saka and Dave making light conversation while passing a soccer ball back and forth–decked out in the full kit.
The Furon V8 arrives with a refined upper construction focused on lightweight responsiveness, directional stability, and ball touch optimization—a continuation of New Balance’s approach to modern cleats. Stone Island’s influence appears through tactical paneling, minimalistic color schemes, and material treatments that channel the brand’s signature craftsmanship.
The jersey is crafted from polyester jacquard with engineered mesh zones, finished with bonded seams and tape-reinforced cover stitching, according to Stone Island’s website. The New Balance logo is raised with a ripstop texture and reflective accents across jersey and shorts, while the socks feature tonal embroidery and dual stripes in open mesh.
