On Monday, JFS Media and SHOC unveiled the official custom helmets for the 2025 StaffDNA Cure Bowl.

The Cure Bowl, a college football bowl game, has been played since 2015. The bowl game raises funds for cancer research and honors cancer survivors. According to its website, the annual game in Orlando has raised over $4.35 million for cancer research since its inception.

Last year’s helmets included a white design with a depiction of the chemical compound CT20 Peptide–which kills metastatic breast cancer cells. There was also a black helmet with an artistic depiction of cancer cells being attacked by nano particles.

This year’s helmets were made by Disney legacy artist Krystiano DaCosta. They were revealed on social media on Tuesday, and feature a completely new design.

The jerseys are sponsored by SHOC, best known for their lightweight football visors and other optical gear. The company says its visors are made from ultra-light polycarbonate with high breakage strength and UV protection. The company sells gear for football, lacrosse, and softball.

In 2024, StaffDNA became the title sponsor for the Cure Bowl, marking a five-year commitment to the event to help raise awareness for cancer.

On game day, survivors wear pink and participate in the annual March2Cure parade. They’re also invited to a VIP tailgate and receive two free tickets to the Cure Bowl.

The StaffDNA Cure Bowl will take place on December 17 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
