Youth, high school, and college sports have exploded into a multi-billion dollar industry for both administrators and young players. Dual-sport high school star Makena Cook out of Orange Lutheran (Calif.), is one example of a young star reaching more households with her awesome athleticism. She was recently named Junior Flag Football Player of the Year by Max Preps.
If that wasn’t enough, Cook dominates not just football, but also fútbol. The flag football MVP and champion is committed to the University of Georgia to play division 1 soccer for the Bulldogs in 2027.
