Florida soccer mom Deisy found a problem: while many youth soccer players need high-tech grip socks to up their game, she didn’t see any brands catering directly to them. That inspired her to launch the VDB brand independently one year ago.

VDB Sports is a new youth soccer gear brand centered around grip socks built specifically for young athletes. The company’s socks are engineered to improve traction, stability, and comfort during play. Grip technology helps keep feet steady inside cleats so that players can sprint, turn, and cut with confidence.

The company’s grip socks combine anti-slip silicone pads with breathable, supportive fabrics. These features help reduce internal foot movement, improve control, and minimize distractions during games and training.

VDB’s product lineup also includes knee-high grip socks and complete youth soccer kits with shin guards, catering to both recreational and competitive players. The design focus emphasizes durability, comfort, and performance for kids aged roughly six to 14-years-old.

VDB says its grip socks give support for ankles, knees, and hips, with an anti-chafing design that keeps feet comfortable. VDB also uses an “advanced fabric that wicks away moisture to keep feet dry and cool.”

On social media, the brand highlights how its socks give young players a “silent advantage” on the field.

Testimonials from parents and players seem to agree. They note improved grip and traction when using the socks, which currently retail for $16.95 on the company website.

As VDB Sports continues to grow its presence online and through youth soccer communities, the brand aims to expand accessibility so that more young soccer players can benefit from gear made with their needs in mind.
