Nutrition Brand Ventures into the Tech World with New Team Management App

In tense, divided, and uncertain times, sports is one of the few institutions in our society that brings people together. To deal with the growing demands of a lucrative industry, companies are working to incorporate modern technology in order to thread sports communities together. One Canadian nutrition brand has come up with a comprehensive solution.
The Bio Steel Teams App

Sports performance and nutrition brand BioSteel has developed a free team management platform for coaches, players, and families.
If you’re a coach or an organizer of a youth or amateur sports team, the BioSteel Teams app offers a unified, no-cost toolset for scheduling, communication, live coverage, and team management.
“When I started digging, I found the apps most people use today were outdated—poor UI/UX, no real value for teams, and almost always behind a paywall for basic or ‘premium’ features,” said BioSteel CEO Dan Crosby in a Linkedin post in September. “Worst of all, none of them were designed to give back to youth sports. So, I decided to build my own.”
The BioSteel Teams app launched in September on the Apple App and Google Play stores for free.

What it Offers
- Full access at no cost—no subscription fees, no locked features, and no ads forcing payment.
- A modern dashboard giving instant access to rosters, past games, upcoming events, and recent team activity.
- Scheduling tools that let you create and manage games, practices, or any events with RSVP status, maps, live scores, and location details.
- Built-in chat and communication channels for coaches, players, parents, and community groups to stay connected.
- Live-streaming and scorekeeping features: broadcast games live, and track plays and results in real time.
Sponsorship Perks
If you sign up for the app, BioSteel will sponsor your team, with potential to earn money and free gear from the company. According to BioSteel, over 350,000 hydration products and over $4,000,000 have been gifted to the 5,000+ teams that have signed up for the app.
