Nike and Converse Drop “Stranger Things” Collection Ahead of Final Season

No, you’re not in the Upside Down—this Nike and Converse collab has arrived in our dimension. In anticipation of the final season of Stranger Things, the two premier shoe companies launched a limited-edition sneaker collection on Thursday inspired by the eerie atmosphere and 1980s nostalgia of the seminal Netflix series. Let’s check out the unique collection of sneakers that are cooler than a haunted evening in Hawkins, Indiana.

The limited edition sneakers include a twist on classics like the Nike Air Max 1 and the Converse Chuck 70. According to Nike, the Chuck’s are “impossibly aged” with worn leather, giving the user a feeling of that perfectly “worn out” aesthetic.

The handful of designs available each come with cool mementos from one of the highest grossing shows in the streaming era.
The collection includes references to the fictional WSQK radio station, embroidered “sound waves,” a Hawkins Hawks lace charm, a rubber chicken keychain, and a “Demogorgon” star on the iconic Converse patch, plus two sets of custom laces and an Upside Down license-plate tag.

The Converse Weapon pairs premium leather with a retro 1984-inspired colorway, distressed underlays, and interior prints referencing iconic show elements such as the villainous Vecna and the Mind Flayer.
Some fans already noticed a few of the shoes making a cameo in Season 5’s first four episodes (no spoilers please, I haven’t seen it yet).
I personally like the Nike Field General High, which feels more suited for Marty McFly in the nostalgic ‘80’s classic Back to the Future.

The drop also includes merch—like hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, and a tracksuit—infused with show imagery and vintage-athletic style. You can even get a crewneck styled with Eleven’s famous line “Friends Don’t Lie.”
The full collection is available on Nike.com, Converse.com, the Nike SNKRS app, and select retailers; the tracksuit portion will be sold exclusively through JD Sports. Earlier in November, the Dunk Low and a “Friends Don’t Lie” crewneck debuted on SNKRS and select stores.
